Red Bull Racing x Checo Pérez – 24 Countries, 24 Stories

Challenge
The brief was ambitious: create a series of 24 short videos, each representing one of the countries on the F1 calendar. Every piece had to feel unique, drawing inspiration from local culture, architecture, traditions, and circuits, while still keeping Checo Pérez and Red Bull Racing at the heart of the campaign.

Season One – Art Meets Racing

The first season came with two major challenges:

  • Checo wasn’t available for filming, so we built a full CGI double of him.
  • The creative concept required each video to be stylized in the spirit of a famous painter from that country.

This was the very first project where we decided to heavily use AI tools. They became our canvas for designing extraordinary backgrounds inspired by world-famous artists. Imagine:

  • Italy – Picasso-inspired stylization, with Checo racing in a fractured cubist universe.
  • Mexico – colorful vibrancy echoing Frida Kahlo.
  • Netherlands – bold Van Gogh textures in motion.

By blending AI-generated worlds with 3D and compositing, we created 24 distinct, art-inspired mini-films that felt both experimental and cinematic.

Season Two – Checo in Motion

For the second season, Checo was available for greenscreen shooting, giving us a whole new level of creative freedom. Building on the success of our AI backgrounds, we pushed the concept further by introducing AI-driven transitions between worlds.

The result?

  • Playful, surprising visual morphs that kept the audience hooked.
  • A faster, more dynamic feel aligned with TikTok and Instagram audiences.
  • A seamless blend of live-action performance and AI-powered artistry.

Outcome
Across both seasons, the campaign delivered fresh, visually stunning content that stood out on social media. It highlighted Checo Pérez not just as a racing hero, but as a cultural chameleon moving through worlds shaped by art, tradition, and speed.

For Skymaker, this was a milestone project: the first time we leaned so heavily on AI, proving it could be more than just a tool — it could be a driver of true creative innovation.
